About

Started with a borrowed mower. Built around faith, craft, and finishing what we start.

Cooper Hodsdon, founder of DFW Landscaping & Lawn Care

I grew up working alongside my dad in his business. He taught me the value of hard work, integrity, and doing things the right way — even when it takes longer. Those lessons shaped who I am today.

I started this company in college at ministry school. A friend lent me a mower and a plug-in weed eater, and I needed a way to pay rent. One lawn became ten. Ten became a route. Eventually I hired help, took on installs, and we kept going until we were offering complete outdoor living solutions and pools.

After I gave my life to Christ, I developed a deeper desire to serve people, and business has become one of the ways I'm blessed to do that. I believe excellence matters because God is excellent — and as Christians, our work should reflect that.

A harder season

"When my second daughter passed away, I did not care about doing business or making money anymore. I prayed and asked the Lord if I should continue, and the Holy Spirit gave me the desire in my heart again — to keep serving people through outdoor living."

How we work

The villain in our industry is the lack of integrity. We're the opposite of that.

We actually care more about you than the job

If a project isn't right for you, we'll say so. We'd rather lose the contract than waste your money.

We finish on schedule

Real timelines, communicated up front, and an honest call the moment anything changes.

Communication is systematized

You always know what's next. No ghosting between phases. No 'I'll get back to you' that never comes.

We're enjoyable people to work with

You're going to see us a lot. We try to be people you actually want on your property.

Want to know if we're the right fit for your project?

There's no pressure on a first call. If we're not the right team, we'll tell you who is.
